Mount Rushmore 360 | UNDER CANVAS
In conjunction with Glamping Hub, Under Canvas so graciously invited me to stay and shoot at their Mount Rushmore location. Glamping Hub & Under Canvas were soon to attend the Glamping Summit in Denver and wanted to incorporate 360 video on a Virtual Reality headset. This video was used to show attendees of the Glamping Summit around a real glamping site; something not yet truly possible at the show. I figured everything out logistically from what camera to use, how best to shoot to avoid motion sickness while wearing the VR headset, to the complicated editing process of 360 video. From there, I was able to attend the Glamping Summit and oversee the VR station. I created a way to mirror what was on the headset to an external monitor so that other attendees passing by could see what the VR headset user was seeing.
